# Chat and Communication Tools
### **PUBLIC CHATS - AVATAR CHAT**
1. Click on the \[**THREE DOTS**] to reveal additional features, then select on the \[**PEOPLE ICON**]
2. A public chat box will appear, type your message on the chat box , then click the \[**SEND**] icon.
3. Your avatar's chat bubble will appear at the top of your avatar.
### **PUBLIC CHATS - WORLD CHAT**
1. To switch to **World Chat**, simply click on the \[**WORLD CHAT]** icon, type your message, and press the \[**SEND**] button.
2. Your message will be sent to the chat box .
### **How to Chat with Friend (CHAT ICON**)
1. Click on the **\[CHAT ICON]** at the bottom next to your profile icon. Your **Friend's List Panel** will appear on your screen. Then, click on the **\[CHAT ICON]** next to the name of the friend you want to send a message to.
2. A chat box will appear, type the message you want and then click the \[**SEND**] icon.
Your message has been sent. Wait for your friend to reply.
### **How to Chat with Friend (AVATAR**)
1. Locate your friend's **avatar** and click on it. A pop-up page will appear, click on \[**MESSAGE**].
2. A chat box will appear, type in your message and click the \[**SEND**] button
### **How to know if someone sends you a message?**
1. On your screen, you will fine new message notifications on the lower right side of your screen.
2. Click on the name that appear on the lower side of your screen, this will open the chat box, you can opt to reply or just ignore the message.
### **How to make a Call**
1. Locate and approach the **avatar** of the user you want to call. Click on the \[**MIC ICON]** on top of their avatar's head and wait for them to answer.
2. You will hear a ringing sound and wait for them to answer.
You can cancel the call anytime by clicking on \[**CANCEL**]
3. Once your call is answered, you can enjoy a seamless conversation. To end the call, simply click on the **\[RED TELEPHONE ICON]**.
### **How to enjoy Video Call with Friends**
1. Locate the avatar of the friend you want to initiate a video call and click the \[**VIDEO ICON**] at the top of his/her avatar.
**Alternatively,** to initiate a video call, first click on the chat icon located at the bottom left of your screen. Then, select the friend you wish to call. Click on the \[**THREE DOTS**] next to their name, and a pop-up menu will appear. Choose \[**MESSAGES**]to open a chat box. Finally, click the \[**VIDEO ICON**] at the bottom of the chat box to start your video call.
2. After clicking the video call icon, a pop-up will appear on your screen, and you'll hear a ringing sound. .
3. Once your friend accepts the call, you’ll need to grant permission to use your camera. Click \[**ALLOW**]
4. You can now enjoy a video call with your friend! To end the call, click the \[**RED TELEPHONE ICON**]
