# Account Protection and Privacy Settings
### **How to access the Privacy Settings**
1. On your screen click your **\[POINTS BALANCE].**
2. Your MCC Wallet Page will be displayed, click on \[**CONTACT.GUIDANCE**], a sub function will appear below, click on \[**PRIVACY SETTING**].
3. You can now read and review our platform's Privacy Policy to understand how your personal information is handled and protected.
### **How to Protect Your Account**
1. **Use a Strong Password**
* Create a password with a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. Avoid using easily guessed information like your name or birthday.
2. **Keep Your Login Details Confidential**
* Never share your username or password with anyone, and avoid storing them in easily accessible places.
3. **Avoid Public Wi-Fi**
* When accessing your account, use a secure and private internet connection. Public Wi-Fi can expose your account to hackers.
4. **Regularly Update Your Password**
* Change your password periodically to reduce the risk of unauthorized access.
5. **Be Aware of Phishing Scams**
* Be cautious of emails, messages, or links asking for your login details. Verify the source before providing any information.
6. **Log Out After Use**
* Always log out of your account when using a shared or public device.
7. **Monitor Your Account Activity**
* Regularly check your account activity to ensure there are no unauthorized actions.
8. **Update Your Software**
* Keep your device’s operating system, browser, and antivirus software up to date to protect against vulnerabilities.
